Scheffey is growing and we are seeking a team member to lead the strategy, development, and implementation of social media and other digital marketing campaigns for our clients. As our Social Media Manager, you will be responsible to ensure these digital campaigns are meeting our clients’ strategic marketing goals. It is all about reaching audiences with content that motivates them to take action.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Development and implementation of social media campaigns including engagement tactics, brand awareness, and contests for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Google+, Instagram, and YouTube
  • Development and management of paid social media advertising campaigns for  Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, and emerging channels
  • Development and management of other digital media campaigns such as email, blogging, and emerging channels
  • Manage daily social media content and communications for a variety of clients
  • Develop digital content for defined campaigns including copy, images, and video
  • Demonstrate ROI by generating informative reporting and analysis
  • Provide social media consulting and training to clients as needed
  • Identify and cultivate social media influencers (and bloggers) to generate awareness and social reach
  • Support the team on other digital marketing campaigns as needed
  • Stay current on all digital media technologies, trends, and best practices
  • Ensure deadlines and goals are reached for all campaigns
  • Identify and communicate time, budget, and quality risks as campaigns progress
  • Keep client managers and project managers informed on project progress & client communications

Our ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3-5 years experience in supporting multiple digital marketing campaigns with an emphasis on all social media channels (agency or in-house department)
  • 1-2 years of proven results in social media campaign management
  • Degree in communication, marketing, or related field is desirable but not required
  • Certifications in digital marketing channels are also desirable but not required
  • Experience working in a digital project management system (ActiveCollab or others)
  • Proficiency in the technical aspects of desktop and mobile social media channels: Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram,  Google+, and YouTube
  • Working knowledge of HootSuite (or comparable social management platforms)
  • Capability to develop relevant and engaging content for social media channels that resonates with a client’s audience and that meets their strategic goals
  • Capability to develop engaging written content for blogs, white papers, landing pages, and emails
  • Ability to develop and implement unique and effective paid social media ad campaigns via Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn or YouTube, including paid ads, promoted posts & pins, and contests
  • Ability to implement and analyze email marketing campaigns using platforms such as GetResponse, Campaign Monitor, MailChimp, or Constant Contact
  • Ability to efficiently manage and monitor multiple social & digital communication campaigns on a scheduled basis
  • Ability analyze and present Google Analytics metrics for campaigns
  • Working knowledge of image editing software (Photoshop or other platforms)
  • Working knowledge of WooBox (or other contest management platforms)
  • Working knowledge of WordPress
  • Basic knowledge of photo and video editing techniques
  • Basic knowledge of Google Adwords or other paid search platforms
  • Basic knowledge and understanding of SEO
  • Proven ability to self-prioritize workload and meet deadlines
  • Strong written & verbal communications with internal team and external clients
